Holy week is the week between Palm Sunday and Easter morning which include the holy days of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday(or Holy Thursday), Good Friday and Easter Sunday! Traditionally, Evangelical Protestants have ousted a good deal of the Easter traditions. My husband good_shepherd-7135901and I, however, love to observe the days of Holy week as preparation and remembrance of what our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished for us on the Cross!Palm Sunday is the day on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. He rode in as a triumphant King who was ready to give his life for his beloved! Maundy Thursday is the day that Jesus partook of the Last Supper with his Twelve Disciples.

Good Friday is a solemn day, as it is the day that Jesus suffered and died on the Cross for the sins of all mankind! But hope is renewed on Easter morning as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus from the grip of death and the grave! Hallelujah!

This is just a brief overview. As each day approaches, I will go into a little more depth of its meaning and significance! Happy Holy Week!
