But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Is. 53:5
I love this song because it reflects on the death of Christ and the hope we have in HIM because he was willing to suffer and die. He loved us and wanted to have an intimate relationship with us. The only way this could happen was through the death and resurrection which allowed a bridge to be made between man and God. Thank you Jesus! Without him there is NO HOPE in this life. And I am eternally grateful for his sacrifice which opens the door to hope! Check out my hubby’s Good Friday post over at his blog, Pure Milk.
